Robert writes, "There were marmots all along the Skyline Loop Trail that climbs Mt. Rainier. This one in particular seemed to like all the attention that humans were showing him; every few moments he would strike a new pose, drawing the crowds ever closer.
This trail is a very popular hike in the Park; a 5-plus mile loop. On the day of our visit, the mountain was visible (which is only about half the time) and we had to park about 1/2 mile away from the trailhead. We didn't do the full loop, but thoroughly enjoyed the hike that we did." Comments | Permalink
