Meet the writer/photographer Katelynn Molesky

Katelynn Molesky and her family moved to Adair County from the northeast in 2021. Through 4-H she discovered a love of writing and taking pictures. Her first published article came out of a spontaneous idea at a state 4-H conference in June of 2025. She wrote it and sent it to the Adair County Extension Office (home of 4-H), who then posted it on their Facebook page and distributed it to three other local news media, including ColumbiaMagazine.com.
