Ruby Miller, age ten months, often joins her second cousin Esti Irvin at the family store, Nanwood, on the Public Square in Columbia. Esti's mom Luci calls them their shop girls as they learn the business and interact with customers. Ruby is there with her grandmother Mary Keen.
