Cora Bell Compton, who was born and raised in southwestern Adair County, would be proud of her great-granddaughter, artist Leslie Lindsay, who is partnering with LWU on an upcoming exhibit. Rather than focusing on famous people or major historical events, the exhibition aims to tell the story of ordinary families through the objects they used in their daily lives.
