Adair County Magistrates working out a budget

Redemption Road to Recovery brought media representatives to Fiscal Court Tuesday evening. Money is being made available through the Court to expand the details about the available addiction support services offered by Redemption Road, a faith-based nonprofit with both men's and women's transitional housing. The money can only be allocated on this mission, it can't be put into other funds.
Mary Bardin, community resource person, operates Redemption Road to Recovery from her office on Columbia's public square, providing services at no cost to individuals nor to the county. Patients are accepted regardless of insurance; special support for pregnant mothers and mothers with children (allowing them to keep their children during recovery).
