Mike writes, "Our daffodils and the Crocus have pushed up several weeks ago. We were concerned the 4 inches of snow and the 2+ inches of collected sleet and freezing rain that followed in Harrodsburg would surely crush the growth. But at 2pm on Monday, January 9, 2026, a quick glance proved that Spring will come once more. The photo shows just how much snow/ice is still around in the great frigid Bluegrass.
Traveling along highway 127 to Russell Springs and the Parkway to Columbia illustrated the accelerating melt here in the Great Wooded South." Comments | Permalink
