Final Colors of 2025

2026-01-01 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Katelynn M. Molesky
Katelynn writes, "I was out in my field when I saw the sun go down and realized that when it rises once more it will be a brand new year. The array of colors made it a beautiful and fitting way to close out the year.

Although I've seen the end of quite a few years in my life, I still find it sort of fascinating how time can both feel as if it is standing still and flying by at once. In a way, we are all living in the present, future, and past - for every present moment was once the future and will one day be the past.

And so even something as simple as standing outside and watching the year's last sunset feels special to me, as although the days will continue to begin and end over and over for many many years, it will never be the same exact moment again. Farewell, 2025..."
