I was at South Lake Howard Nature Park on a spring break visit to Winter Haven because it was listed a birding hotspot on the ebird app. There were indeed lots of birds to watch in this small inland park, including black crowned night herons, wood ducks, limpkins, anhingas, and even a couple of black bellied whistling ducks. But it was the squirrels who proved to be the most camera friendly. Comments | Permalink
