Russell County Deputy Sheriff Joshua Phipps has been chosen for inclusion to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC in May 2025. Deputy Phipps' end of watch was September 16, 2024, at 5:27pm. He was killed in the line of duty, assisting Kentucky State Troopers in the apprehension of a repeat felon.
The NLEOMF's 37th Annual Candlelight Vigil will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2025, on the National Mall to memorialize those who sacrificed all for their communities. Comments | Permalink
