Dr. John Chowning shared, "It is always a blessing to visit with Dr. James Jones. Today was special because it was his 90th birthday. Many of his good friends stopped by the CU Center for Faith and Ministry to wish him a happy birthday. Dr. Jones is one of the truly great Baptist preachers and leaders of our time and an inspiration for us all. He is a primary spiritual mentor of mine and a very dear friend.
