While traveling in Germany, the Arnold family took a day trip to the city of Mainz, the capital and largest city of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Veronica says, "We saw the Holzturm, near the banks of Rhine. The weather was gross, cold, foggy. So we couldn't see the river clearly. But was hard to miss this medieval tower. "
Wikipedia says, "The Wood Tower (German: Holzturm) is a mediaeval tower in Mainz, Germany, with the Iron Tower and the Alexander Tower one of three remaining towers from the city walls.
