Billy Joe writes, "Pork was the most important source of protein for our subsistence farming forefathers. Sorghum molasses and butter were very important sources of energy for their daylight to dark workdays in summer and for those long, cold nights of winter. Waffles were always popular with Maple syrup but, Lord have mercy, waffles with butter and sorghum syrup has won my heart!" Comments | Permalink
