These were five of the nine children of Walter Scott and Addie Turner Leftwich at a reunion in 1983. From left are Eugenia Leftwich Martin, Geniece Leftwich Marcum, Almedia Leftwich, Rondyl Leftwich and Robert Leftwich. The four siblings not at this gathering were: Russell, Ed, Dasye and Isabelle. Their home was in Metcalfe County about two miles outside of Edmonton on the farm behind what is now Bowling Park. The farmhouse was said to have been haunted but the thought was that if there had been ghosts when the Dillon family sold it to Walter, the noise of nine children would have scared them away.
