Street light needs replacing downtown

Kathryn Burton has been a resident of Columbia on the corner of West Fortune and South Monroe Streets for many years and said, "I'm 86 years old and don't like being in the dark and unable to get the light repaired after a month of trying." She reported calling many numbers for help starting with the city, the electric utility and many calls that have been suggested to her in between - all with no result to date. Many have simply told her, "I have no idea." One number she called got her to Alabama - that didn't help at all. She'd sure like some help. Comments | Permalink
