Travel: Lookout Point on the Moki Dugway

Robert writes, "From this elevated view along Highway 261, we are on the gravel section of the highway known as the Moki Dugway. The scenery is spectacular! The gravel road on the left side of the image is the 17-mile loop that goes through Valley of the Gods...which we had just completed upon leaving Monument Valley. To cap off those two adventures, this--Highway 261, and specifically the Moki Dugway--was added to the itinerary as well.
The blacktop road, center of the image, climbs the cliff face we're on by winding upwards through numerous switchbacks, then turning into 3 miles of gravel (Moki Dugway). It returns back to blacktop after ascending to the top. A portion of the gravel switchback is visible near the rock structures (left, bottom third) in the picture. Far off in the distance, top right, is Monument Valley.
