Nature's blossoms at the old Fairgrounds

On a morning walk at the old Fairgrounds, these blossoms stood out - pink clover, white clover, a little yellow flower and one, at left, that I appealed to our friend for an identity. Billy Joe Fudge knew that flowering bush - the one that contributes to the air smelling so sweet this week. It is Chinese Privet. He said, "It is nasty, spreads really quickly and takes over some areas completely." Come to think of it, there were a great many of the bushes in the old fencerow. Comments | Permalink
