Metcalfe County Schools has TWO winners in the 2024 Kentucky Department of Agriculture Poster and Essay contests. Jameah Kirby is the statewide 5th-grade winner of the essay contest, and Emily Shaw is the statewide 12th-grade winner of the poster contest. The theme of this year's contest was "Agriculture for a Better Kentucky." Jameah and Emily will each receive a $100 check from KAEC (Kentucky Agriculture and Environment in the Classroom). Both are invited to a statewide awards ceremony at UK's Kroger Field and a UK baseball game at Kentucky Proud Park. Comments | Permalink
