Columbia's historic John Field (Mark Twain) House found its new owner family Thursday, December 14, 2023. At the closing were, from left, T.E.C.E. Title Services owner Tia White, Realtor Tom Waggener, new owners Kevin and Emily Williams, and T.E.C.E assistant Connie DeVore. Plans are for the long restoration project, saving the 200+ year old home, to begin soon. The home was built in 1812 and is one of only a hand-full of buildings from that era left standing in Adair county. Comments | Permalink
