Trucks have hardest time during festivals

There has to be a better way for big trucks to get around downtown Columbia than this. City Police directed drivers into the small alley that is is use when the Public Square is closed off for special events like Treats on the Town. Maybe we can hear from some who drive through town how they avoid the congestion at festival and celebration times. The bypass is there for traffic going north/south 55 and 61, but what if a truck is coming from East 80 trying to get to north 55? Is there a way? If you know, please click 'comment' below and share.
