Cynthia writes, "Even though Thanksgiving may have passed as we are now approaching the Christmas Season I am thankful to Sumitomo Electrical Wiring Systems and the City of Edmonton in Metcalfe County for putting forth the effort to erect and maintain the huge American Flag that furls in the wind as you travel the area the Cumberland Parkway or where 68 and Industrial Drive intersect." Maulden named 2022 Firefighter of the Year

Mona Lisa plant

Veronica writes, "Looking for a nice indoor plant as a nice gift for others or yourself this season? Let me recommend the Aeschynanthus obconicus 'Mona Lisa' basket vine. I call it the Lipstick plant, and it is an easy-to-care-for indoor flowering plant. It has those shiny waxy leaves which helps it retain water; so it won't need watering every day. They grow nicely inside in a sunny spot, and can grow quite long! A plant to keep your inside cheery and bright even in the dark winter.
