Ricky Collins was among special members acknowledged at the March, 2023 meeting of the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce. Ellen Zornes asked him to stand and be recognized as the one who always can be depended on to keep the utilities going in the Training and Development Center. Cheers - starting the day with hot cup of coffee

Audra Campbell likes to start her day enjoying a hot cup of coffee according to her daughter Rita. Her comment reminded me of my Mom who, like Audra, started her day with a hot cup of black coffee and a buttered biscuit - with a twist.
Mom, following in her own mother's footsteps, would open a hot biscuit, slather a good bit of butter onto each half, then toast it in the oven until the butter was melted and the edges were crisp. -- LW Comments | Permalink
