Betty Shirley Knifley writes: "The story I've been told was that a set of this blue china was given to my Great grandmother, Miladean Hines Shirley, when she retired from working in the cafeteria of the M & F school. I'm thinking it was like some used there.
The keys belonged to my other Great grandmother, Lenora Howard Pickett, who left Pickett's Chapel with her husband, William Gaither Pickett to purchase and run the Pickett Hotel in Greensburg."
