Travel: Clingmans Dome, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Robert writes, "Part of the challenge of the half mile hike to reach the observation tower is finding parking. The wait time to snag a spot can get lengthy during the busiest time of the day.
At 6,643 feet, Clingmans Dome is the highest point in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the highest point in Tennessee, and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi. (Pic taken will cell phone.)"

Several boats with the Campbellsville University Bass Fishing Team travelled to Alabama last week to compete in the 2023 Strike King Bassmaster College Series Wild Card tournament. Early on Friday morning, around 150 boats filled the waters at the Beeswax Creek Boat Ramp. Comments | Permalink
