During the second of two sessions on Saturday at the Adair Genealogy & History Research Center, Mike Watson and Phil Hanna presented materials and techniques of various types for all levels of experience. Handouts were available on many topics including: vital statistics--births, deaths, marriages; land records; on-line databases that facilitate family tree building; Find-A-Grave; local, regional and national newspaper searching; best practices in documentation and organizations of searches and what to do with that information when it is located.
