Kentucky Color: Dogwood berries

The fruit of Flowering Dogwood is an example of a drupe, a hard seed that is surrounded by a fleshy fruit. Billy Joe says, "These are native Dogwood which I dug from a grown up field (young forest) during the 1990s."

Mark and Denise Fudge at OCC Global Connect conference

Mark and Denise Fudge are the Area Coordinators for the Operation Christmas Child Green River Area team. They are pictured earlier this year attending the Global Connect conference in Orlando, Florida. The National collection dates for OCC in 2023 are November 13-20.
