High-Speed Internet expanding in southern Adair

Gov. Andy Beshear presented $7,244,132 to DuoBroadband to connect 378 unserved homes and businesses in Adair County to high-speed internet. The company will also contribute $3,104,628 in matching funds, bringing the total investment in this community to $10,348,760.

October 8-14, 2023 will be the annual Kentucky Extension Homemaker Association week. A proclamation has been signed in Russell County putting a spotlight on the works done by the 60 members of the Russell County Extension Homemakers who completed more than 2,852 hours of volunteer service in 2022-2023.
