Artist Karen Roland shares, "Painted Saturday from the side of the road on 218 in Metcalfe County. There were ripe pumpkins bigger than basketballs on both sides of the tumble down barn as far as the eye could see but I had to pick a side to include the barn detail. Heading for the Thanksgiving Day Parade

Adair County High School Junior percussionist Grant Adamson is living in the "opportunity of a lifetime" -- he will participate in the 97th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Macy's Great American Marching Band (MCAMB). Grant and his family left for New York City last weekend in order to prepare for the big Thursday event. The parade will air live on NBC from 8:30am - Noon Thursday, November 23, 2023 or can be streamed using the Peacock app. Comments | Permalink
