ACMS students get an inside look at government

Students from Adair County Middle School got a taste of the government process in Frankfort in early December. The Kentucky Youth Assembly is an experiential learning program in which students serve as part of a model state government.

ACMS Bluegrass Debate Team gets big results at KYA

Bowen Furkin, Maddie Wethington, and Pierce Stotts on the grounds at the Capitol. Their team, which also included Hunter Ballou and Cole Stockton (not pictured), proposed a bill which would make it mandatory to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycyle, and presented it to both the KYA House and KYA Senate, passing both, at the 2023 Kentucky Youth Assembly.
