In this season of Advent, members of Columbia United Methodist Church welcomed the talented musicians of the Lindsey Wilson College concert band under the direction of Anthony Baird. Part of his title includes Instructor of Trumpets which may explain why their sound was so pure it seemed to open the new sanctuary roof right up to the heavens.

Lunch with the LWC water exercise group at Black Stallion Steakhouse Monday. The group also celebrated a December birthday for the member who will celebrate birthday number 92 on December 29th. From left are: Liz Jones, Linda Waggener, *Connie Slattery, Loretta Budzisz, Kari Barr, Amy Brown, Maureen Carpenter, Dolly Walker, Mary Ann Anewicz, Josie Chundy and Charmaine Stewart. The seniors water exercise class is offered at 11amCT Monday, Wednesday and Friday inside the Holloway Health and Wellness Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College.
