Travel: Fireworks at Snowbird Ski Resort

George and Vonnie Kolbenschlag made a trip to Salt Lake City in Utah to visit with their sons and families for Christmas 2023. While there, they visited Snowbird Ski Resort, where George, Jr., is mountain school director. George Sr. captured this photo of fireworks lighting up the tram while visiting the resort. This year has set a snowfall record at Snowbird Ski Resort with 838 inches (that's 70 feet) of the white stuff. The photos don't show that too well as there were also some major snow melts in 2023 during the winters, so there was no time when all 70 feet of snow was on the ground. Comments | Permalink
