Billy Joe writes, "This is my 16 member, Kentucky firefighter crew on one of my trips out West. The seventeenth member wearing the hard hat was a US Forest Service employee assigned to our crew as a liaison. Each non USFS crew had a liaison that served as a communication link between the crew and USFS overhead." Comments | Permalink

Robert writes of this scene that he came across back in late December of 2016, that spurred him to return quickly with camera, "It was a hoary frost event that was only happening on the ridge in Sparksville."
