LWC could become Lindsey Wilson University

This is the historic entrance to the campus of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia with the new clock. President Bill Luckey said the college is doing incredibly well and a possible name change would be only that, a change in name, keeping to the spirit and mission of the school.

Kildeer chicks are fully feathered at birth

Kildeer chicks hatch fully feathered and as soon as the feathers dry they are ready to toddle about. It is estimated that only 53-60 percent of the hatchlings fledge. Their distinctive markings and behaviors make them an interesting addition to our rural landscape.
