Renee writes, "The oldest to the youngest at the Annual Spires Reunion held in the Pavillion at the old Adair County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 31, 2024, was Joe Spires (Papa Joe), age 103 and Adaline (Addie Mae) Kelsay, age 16 months, both of Campbellsville. Joe is the son and Addie Mae is the great-great-great granddaughter of the late Ancil and Martha Mings Spires. A total of 66 were in attendance." Comments | Permalink

The Adair County Indians football team trounced the Colonels of Caverna 36-0 in the Kentucky Cooperage Bowl hosted at Marion County High School. Lightning in the area resulted in the game being called at half on mutual agreement of both teams. Comments | Permalink
