Adair County High School football defeated Monroe County 36-30 in a last minute thriller Friday night. The Indians came out in impressive fashion and built up a 20-6 halftime lead, but the Falcons would not go away easily and stormed back. Comments | Permalink

Giles Helm, 6th grader at Russell County Middle School, is pictured with Allen Purnell at the famous Shelby County business, Purnell's Old Folks Sausage. Giles is the son of Derrick and Terran Cross Helm of Jamestown who believe Giles is truly the biggest consumer and fan of Old Folks Country Sausage because it is one of his top every day, only-that-brand-will-do, foods.
