Mary Anne Loy and Susan Loy were working on refreshments behind the scenes at the Trabue Russell House for the special Genealogy and History Center event this week. Guest speaker Marco Sioli, a professor of American history at the University of Milan in Italy, wrote and spoke about Daniel Trabue.

Mayor Hoots presents key to City

Mayor Pam Hoots presented a key to the City of Columbia to speaker Marco Sioli, guest of the Adair Genealogy and History Center, this week. He spoke on "Memory of the Wilderness: Daniel Trabue and the Frontier of Kentucky", based on his article on Trabue in the Journal of American History from March of 1998.
