The War Mothers Memorial Bridge, as seen from the Kentucky River in downtown Frankfort. The red building at left is the renovated State Arsenal, built in 1850. A reminder to slow down this time of year

A reminder to drivers that there's lots of people using the roads this time of year, and it's always good to leave room for the unexpected. Sometimes, just when you think it's safe to pass a slow-moving farm vehicle, the whole convoy will have to change lanes for a stalled log truck undergoing emergency repairs. Comments | Permalink
