Scenic Kentucky: Icons of days gone by
2024-09-09 - Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking
Robert writes, "These old cars, mostly Chevys (I think), have been parked there for many years. I remember driving by them every workday morning, back as early as 1978. I'm guessing they were parked there even earlier than that. In some ways they have become an iconic relic for the town of Campbellsville."
You'll pass them on your way in to Campbellsville from Knifley, on S. Central Avenue (Hwy 70). Comments | Permalink First time kayaking on Green River Lake

I saw this heron stab at something in the water and come up with a black and white dragonfly. He dipped it back in the water and then carried it to shore, but eventually the heron either let it go or let it escape. Comments | Permalink Older Photos
