Clear the Shelters visits Sugarfoot Farm Rescue

Peg writes, "Riley Guertin from NBC came to Sugarfoot Farm Rescue on Saturday, September 7, 2024, to film the dogs for Clear the Shelters, a campaign to encourage dog adoption. They will be shown on WNKY Channel 40 every day for Pet of the Day. The dogs were very welcoming and photogenic.

This is Easton, a Coonhound, giving Riley loves."

Winning student art in 2023 - new contest begins

Grades K-8 students are invited to enter the 2024 KACo (Kentucky Association of Counties) Art Contest to share why you love your county!

Eligibility - Only Kentucky students in kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible.

Each submission must be original artwork completed during 2024 by one student. This artwork is the 2023 winner from Barren County. More contest details are in the story when you click 'read more'.
