The crowning of the 2024 LWC homecoming king and queen will be held at halftime of the football game between LWC and St. Andrews (North Carolina) University at Parnell Family Stadium, Lindsey Wilson Sports Park, 820 Hanley Lane. Quilt art design is Garden Bouquet

Thanks to Jill Petrey for giving details to do further research on the special quilt featured earlier on Columbia Magazine. The name of the quilt pattern appears to be "Garden Bouquet." The pattern was syndicated under the title of The Nancy Page Quilt Club, with one block per week being offered in prominent newspapers during the early 1930s to 1933. Each block had an urn with the two birds on it and a different flower in the middle. Comments | Permalink
