The T.J. Community Mission Foundation (TJCMF) is proud to announce that Children's Day has officially become a program of the Foundation. The public announcement took place during a resolution signing ceremony at the Champions of Care Luncheon, hosted by TJCMF on Friday, October 4, 2024. The resolution was signed by Children's Day Fund Board Chair Helena Birdwell, Dr. Bharat Mody, Chair Emeritus of the Children's Day Board, and T.J. Whereas, The 115 members of the Russell County Extension Homemakers Association completed more than 4,183 hours of volunteer service in 2023-2024. Now, Therefore, I, Randy Marcum, Judge Executive of Russell County, do hereby proclaim October 13th to 19th, 2024, as Kentucky Extension Homemakers' Week. Bypass route from 55 north to Parkway east

Even before signs went up changing the weekend festival traffic, these three identical, unmarked truck/trailer vehicles - two white and one bright yellow - journeyed south from Campbellsville, taking the Veterans Memorial Bypass all the way around to Hwy 55 south, turned left, and then right onto the Cumberland Expressway heading east. Good job, drivers! And good job to whatever mapping agencies got the directions right. This is the best way to get around downtown Columbia, heading south - from 55 north to the Parkway east - until we get the other half of the bypass. Comments | Permalink
