On their trip to Germany, the Arnolds paid a visit to The Old Palace (German: Altes Schloss), a former castle located on the Schillerplatz in Stuttgart.
Veronica says "In the mid-1700s, the Altes Schloss was deemed not nice enough and a new castle was built and the Altes Schloss was left to be the warehouse for the court royalty to store their archeological finds and collections. The antiquities were of various time periods, and from all over the globe. they even had globes and various tools used in navigation in the 1600s."
The Palace is home to the Landesmuseum's exhibits on Stone Age and Roman artifacts, paintings, and a recounting of ancient regional history. You can read more about The Old Palace at Wikipedia. Comments | Permalink
