The Lindsey Wilson College softball team finished loading OCC shoebox gifts from Adair County onto this pup trailer last week. The shoebox gifts are now on their way to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they will be processed. A total of 3,585 shoebox gifts were collected in Adair County in 2024. Comments | Permalink

Students and athletes from Lindsey Wilson College helped pack and load shoebox gifts from Adair, Casey, Hart, Green and Metcalfe Counties. This group of Lindsey Wilson College softball players loaded the final cartons which were delivered from Hart County. CACFD: Structure fire on Keltnertown Road

The Columbia Adair County Fire Department responded to a weekend fire on Keltnertown Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story residential structure fully engulfed in flames and the structure was on the ground. Firefighters then conducted an attack on this fire which brought this fire quickly under control. Comments | Permalink
