LWC students, alumna part of performance of Handel's Messiah

Four Lindsey Wilson College students and an alumna were part of a Monday night performance of selections from George Frideric Handel's "Messiah." The five were part of the Glasgow Community Chorus' presentation of the oratorio, which was performed at Glasgow Baptist Church.

The quintet included, from left: soprano-2 Sarai Collins of Columbia, a human services and counseling sophomore; alto Amber Loy, a communications and human services and counseling junior from Columbia; soprano-2 Madeline Hardwick, an English secondary education sophomore from Columbia; soprano-1 Chelsea Pike, a 2015 alumna from Campbellsville, Kentucky; and cellist Abby Oswald, an engineering mechanics junior from Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Pike performed a solo, "He Shall Feed His Flock Like a Shepherd."

Luckey honored at SACSCOC meeting

Lindsey Wilson College President William T. Luckey Jr. is presented with the James T. Rogers Distinguished Leadership Award by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges President Belle S. Wheelan on Monday at the association's annual meeting.
