The long playing record in the Metcalfe County History Museum is of the Edmonton Quartet from the 1970s and features Tommy Shirley, Larry Cooksey, Tammi Lynn Kidd, Wayne Sexton, Jimmy McCubbins, and John McCubbins. Lindsey Wilson College President William T. Luckey Jr. was part of a delegation of leaders from Kentucky's independent colleges and universities who met Tuesday, February 4, 2025, with Kentucky Rep. James Comer of Tompkinsville. Comer, whose 1st Congressional District includes Lindsey Wilson, met with the delegation to discuss higher education issues facing the commonwealth's 18 independent colleges and universities.

Heated bowls helped in the snow and ice

Farming has been much better in the warmer temps, but Donna Rieder said her Clifty Creek chickens were able to eat and drink through the end of January freeze because she has heated bowls. Long range weather predictors suggest winter 2025 is not through with snow and ice yet so they will still be handy. Comments | Permalink
