Thirty-seven (37) years ago the Moore family opened in their present location on the Square in Columbia and have been serving some of the best food in town ever since, writes Mike Watson. Friday morning Charlotte Moore Hare was serving up breakfast, fast and hot, even while shorthanded and with water issues - now repaired. The iconic restaurant, a favorite with locals as well as travelers, is noted state-wide and beyond. With a long history of businesses in this location, the Moore's have been operating for 46 years total, the first few years across the Square. Stop by and tell 'em you saw it on Columbia Magazine!
