CACVFD firefighters present Adair County's 2025 Crusade for Children fundraising totals at WHAS in Louisville. Grant says, "We are proud to announce that our total for the 2025 WHAS Crusade For Children is $64,971.33! That total is the most we have ever raised in one year, and is 30.41% over last year!"

Mike says, "With a steady rain falling, we had a smaller group than usual but all came prepared with umbrellas and ponchos and so, Lanterns and Tombstones S4E3 went off as scheduled on Friday evening, June 6, 2025. Given the circumstances, it was a success!"

Smokey the English Pointer, at work in the field. When off-duty, Billy Joe says, "I remember things like us sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on the front porch. Looking south across our pond and fruit orchard toward Rock Lick Creek, we would converse about a broad range of subjects."
