Australian Cattle Dog found

Peg writes, "A man came to the rescue a few days ago. Said he found a stray dog. Could we take it? We explained that we are full. Less than a half hour later our neighbor called asking if we had lost a dog. Turns out the man just drove up the road and dumped the dog. This has got to stop! She is now at Sugarfoot Farm Rescue. She is an Australian Cattle Dog. Very friendly. If she isn't claimed she will be available for adoption. Contact us at 270-634-4675." Comments | Permalink

Donation for Trabue House Preservation

Christa Belle Montgomery Gimbel has donated $5,000.00 to the City of Columbia for preservation of the historic Trabue Russell House. Members of the Trabue Russell House Committee presented a check to the City at the October meeting of the City Council.
