Learning to make molasses, and pottery, at the Hadley place

These young folks were learning all about the country art of making molasses at the homeplace of Kathy and Maxie Hadley last week. This picture shows they also enjoyed pottery making. The Hadleys are known for building and sharing farm ways and lifestyles of their ancestors. Comments | Permalink

Downtown Days 2025 - all cleaned up afterward

A perfect celebration of Downtown Days 2025 was followed by a perfect cleanup and return to business around the Public Square in Columbia last weekend after the crowds were gone. By the end of the day Sunday all the littler had been removed, thanks to our city employees. Thanks to all involved in hosting and visiting! Comments | Permalink
