Awards presented to McKinney and Smith

In the Spirit of Columbia awards presented by Columbia Police Chief Evan Burton, he said, "On October 17, 2025, Officers David Tyler McKinney and Elliot G. Smith responded to an accidental gunshot wound at 2:32am at 1107 Carrie Bolin Drive. Upon arrival, the officers found a 63 year old male, Mr. Franklin, with a gunshot wound to his left arm. David and Elliot applied a tourniquet to Mr. Franklin's arm, stopping the bleeding and saving his life."

ACHS winning artists in Regional competition

Artists at Adair County High School did a great job in the Caveland Regional Art Competition hosted by the Kentucky Art Educators Association. Students brought home a total of 16 awards, 9 of which will be advancing to All-State. From left in this picture are: Mallory Smith, Colton Clark, Natalie Sneed, Cayce Davenport, Harley Grider, Makayla Rios, and Dixon Cary.
