Robert W. Merideth, 73, Jamestown, KY (1947-2021)

Robert W. Merideth of Jamestown passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at his residence. He was 73 years old.

The family chose care and cremation.


Robert was born in Park City, KY on December 31, 1947, a son of the late Marjorie (Hogan) and Robert Merideth.

He served in the U.S. Army and the USAR for 22 years, he fought in the TET Offensive-Kontum and Battle of Lang VIE. He recieved several Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.

He retired from the Military.

Robert is survived by:
  • His wife Rhonda Carol (Arnold) Scott Merideth, of Franklin, KY
  • A son, Chris, husband of Laura Merideth, of Jamestown, KY;
  • Two step daughters, Beverly Cowles, of Scottsville, KY; Tori, wife of James Goodrum, of Franklin, KY;
  • A step son, Jason Mulligan, of Franklin, KY;
  • A sister, Treva, wife of Eric Childress, of Park City, KY
  • 8 grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Martha (Britt) Merideth, brother Donald Merideth and a grandson Matthew Merideth.
